Fuel crisis: The United States calls on Putin to save the global economy

A rapprochement between two superpowers to preserve the global economy. Faced with the fuel crisis, Vladimir Putin could offer his support to Europe and the rest of the world, at the request of the United States.

It was US President Donald Trump who made the information public. On Friday, he announced that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, had pledged to supply several million tons of diesel over several months to meet the needs of the US and global markets.

This commitment follows a "very fruitful discussion" between the two leaders. In his message published on Truth Social, Donald Trump specified the announced volumes and the delivery schedule.

According to him, Russia will immediately supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel, followed by an additional 500,000 tons in November. A further delivery of 1 million tons is also planned.

The US president finally mentioned the possibility of quickly delivering an additional 3 million tons of diesel, depending on the situation at Russian refineries.

White House tenant Donald hopes that this supply will help to quickly lower diesel prices, both in the United States and on international markets.

"Diesel prices for Americans, and indeed for the world, will fall rapidly to record levels!" he asserted.
