Road Safety: The BNSP warns of the danger of headscarves

As the saying goes, "prevention is better than cure." This is the whole point of the vigilance message launched by the National Fire Brigade.

While road accidents claim many victims each year, some accidents also occur in circumstances to which little attention is paid.

Indeed, on several occasions, scarves have been caught in the chain or rear wheel of moving motorcycles, causing accidents that are sometimes serious.

In light of the tragedies already recorded, some of which have cost the lives of users, the BNSP "urges all female motorcycle users to exercise the utmost vigilance."

She recommends that drivers always ensure their headscarf is short enough or carefully concealed under their clothing so that no end can be caught in the chain or rear wheel of the vehicle.

A few seconds of control can prevent a tragedy, concludes the BNSP in its warning message.
