Burkina Faso: Results of the 2026 competitive entrance exams expected in mid-September

Candidates for the 2026 Civil Service entrance exams could receive their results by mid-September. This is the target set by the Ministry of Civil Service, as the exam processing is already well underway.

Following the conclusion of the written exams on July 22, the scanning of the exam papers began in the various centers. According to the Director General of the State Recruitment Agency (AGRE), Ludovic Tinga Ismaël Zaksongo, more than half of the papers have already been digitized.

The Minister of Public Service, Mathias Traoré, visited the scanning center set up at the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) in Ouagadougou on Monday. The purpose of the visit was to ensure the smooth running of operations, to encourage the teams involved, and to reiterate the importance of meeting deadlines.

On this occasion, the minister invited the agents to demonstrate vigilance, integrity and professionalism so that the results of the various competitions would be available by mid-September, allowing for an academic start at the beginning of October.

The Director General of AGRE clarified that the scanning of exam papers takes place simultaneously in the regional capitals. However, as an exception, the papers of candidates from Djibo are processed in Ouagadougou.

In accordance with the applicable regulations, this step is monitored by representatives of the candidates, who are responsible for ensuring the transparency of the copy processing procedure.
