His portrait will no longer be displayed only in official offices. Donald Trump now appears on a limited edition American passport, unveiled yesterday, Friday, to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
"Welcome, but be good!" It was with this phrase, published on his Truth Social platform, that Donald Trump presented this commemorative document.
The image depicts the president, his gaze fixed and his posture solemn, behind his desk. His signature appears in the foreground, while the text of the Declaration of Independence serves as a backdrop.
On the second page, there is a picture representing the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, accompanied by the phrase United States of America 250.
The White House, for its part, reported on this image with the caption "Patriot Passport." Never before in the history of the United States had a sitting president appeared on an American passport.
This initiative is in addition to a series of decisions taken by Donald Trump to place his image at the heart of national symbols.
