Guinea: Sexual videos involving children flood social media; the justice system intends to crack down.

For over a week, sexually explicit videos featuring young people, including minors, have been circulating online. Some show children touching their own private parts or those of other children.

Faced with these shocking images, the special prosecutor's office of the juvenile court has broken its silence. In a statement to the media, Prosecutor Cé Avis Gamy warned that these practices will not go unpunished.

"We are preparing to give a substantial response to such practices so that this behavior ceases in our society, which does not deserve this," he warned.

While the responsibility of young people is a concern, that of adults who exploit or involve minors in the production of pornographic content appears even more troubling. For the prosecutor, the use of a child in this type of content constitutes an aggravating circumstance.

Beyond legal action, the authorities are calling for a general mobilization. Parents, educators, and citizens are urged to increase their vigilance in order to prevent these abuses and protect minors from any attack on their dignity, integrity, and safety.
