The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) conducted several precision airstrikes against three positions of armed terrorist groups in the sectors of Koro, Sandaré and Sofara on November 3 and 4, 2026. These operations notably targeted bases housing fighters, vehicles, motorcycles and fuel depots.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the first operation took place on Tuesday, November 3, 52 kilometers northeast of Koro. The use of precise intelligence led to the location of a base housing several individuals and military equipment. After confirming the target, several airstrikes were carried out.
The following day, Wednesday, November 4, a second terrorist base was targeted 40 kilometers northeast of Sandare. The position also housed several individuals, vehicles, motorcycles, and a fuel depot.

On the same day, another armed group, including two individuals on a motorcycle concealed under vegetation, was spotted 40 kilometers northwest of Sofara and then precisely struck. The motorcycle was completely burned out and other equipment was destroyed by fire.

These operations are part of Operation Dougoukoloko, conducted by the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) with the support of their partners. Reconnaissance operations are continuing in the affected areas to assess the damage, establish a consolidated report, and detect any remaining threats.
