The new electronic ticketing system quickly produced its first results. Just twelve hours after its implementation, it detected 1,099 traffic violations, confirming the effective launch of this automated control system.

To ensure its proper functioning, the Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana, visited the Video Surveillance Supervision Center this Saturday. Accompanied by the Director General of Transmissions and Information Technology, Zakaria Hébié, he monitored the entire process in real time, from the detection of offenses by the cameras to the validation of cases and the sending of notifications to offenders.
The main offenses recorded included not wearing a seatbelt, running red lights, speeding, and using a mobile phone while driving. According to authorities, five drivers had already paid their fines via the Faso Arzêka platform by midday.
The minister praised the commitment of the technical teams who made this innovation possible. He believes these initial results demonstrate the system's effectiveness and reflect the government's commitment to strengthening road safety through digital tools.

The Ministry of Security reiterates that electronic ticketing is primarily intended as a preventative measure. Adherence to the Highway Code remains the best way to avoid penalties and contribute to safer roads for everyone.
